Routines carried out by office workers often make them overtime without adequate rest. If this condition occurs protracted, stress and depression are difficult things to avoid. What is Tension Headache
This disease is the most common type of disease experienced by adults. This disease can also be called a stress headache. It can occur periodically (called episodic), which is less than 15 days a month, or daily (called chronic) if it occurs more than 15 days a month.

The episodic type of Tension Headache causes the sufferer to experience constant pain that is mild to moderate because there is pressure on the part around the forehead or the back of the head to the neck. This pain can last up to 30 minutes to one day. Meanwhile, a chronic type of Tension Headache can arise and disappear for a long time. Pain felt as if throbbing on the front, top, or side of the head. Although the intensity of the pain throughout the day may vary, this will not affect vision, balance or strength.
Causes of Tension Headache
Actually, researchers up to now do not know enough specific causes for this disease. Initially, this disease was thought to be caused by muscle contractions. However, this theory disappears along with the absence of further research to ascertain its truth. However, experts predict that some of these cases are triggered by stress experienced from work, school, or other social relations problems.

- Stress, emotional, and depression.
- Lack of rest due to work knows no time.
- Poor posture.
- Tired body condition.
- Lack of exercise.
- Conditions of hunger or lack of body fluids.
- Use of free analgesic drugs (without a doctor’s prescription).
The main causes of this disease are stress and depression related to social relationships such as family, friends, work, or school. Now some examples of stress triggers include:
- Having a problem at home/family life is difficult.
- Have a newborn child.
- Do not have close friends.
- Back to school or training, prepare for a test or exam.
- Start a new job.
- Loss of a job.
- Compete in sports or other activities.
- A perfectionist who always wants to be perfect.
- Not getting enough sleep.
- Excessive activity (too much involvement in activities/organizations).
People who are vulnerable to developing Tension Headache
According to research, around 30 to 80 percent of adults in the United States have experienced this disease occasionally. Compared to men, women also have a greater chance of getting this disease.
Even though the office routine feels very heavy, you still have to avoid fatigue and stress by always maintaining a healthy body and mind.
